NewsLeecher 7.0 Beta 13 changelog
NewsLeecher 7.0 Beta 13 brings the following changes:
#: Note that this release uses a new data format for the "downloaded.dat" file, located in the NewsLeecher settings folder. The file is used to keep track of downloaded files, so you can see whether or not articles/files have already been downloaded. If you might want to revert back to an earlier version of NewsLeecher later on, it is recommended that you backup the file before installing this version of NewsLeecher. +: For improved simplicity, a toggle to turn on/off advanced "Destination Folder" settings, has been added. The default state is "off". *: The "Repair and Extract" feature now uses a smarter and faster way to automatically detect renamed PAR2-set files. *: For a few users, it took a very long time to launch NewsLeecher, due to larger-than-normal "downloaded.dat" files. Launch time for these users, has been improved a lot. *: Many smaller improvements. !: Fixed bug, that, for some users, reverted download paths back to default, for all queued files, under certain circumstances. !: Many smaller bugfixes ( notification didn't show when license key has been removed due to password change, etc. ) -: Removed "Repair and Extract" checkbox to toggle on/off automatic check for renamed PAR2-set files. "Repair and Extract" will now find out by itself, by looking at the filenames of each individual downloaded file, whether or not such checks are needed or not.
