Welcome to this howto about iGrabNews. iGrabNews is a newsreader for the Apple Mac OS X platform. This program is characterized by its simple interface combined with quite a number of features you need as a Usenet user. Before we start this tutorial, first a list of the most important advantages and disadvantages of the program.
Advantages:
- The program is freeware.
- Very simple interface.
- Multiple server support.
- The program is a Universal Binary so it's suited for PPC as well as Intel-based systems.
Disadvantages:
- No built-in supersearch.
- No option to limit the maximum download speed.
